This assignment, proposed by the Italian Province of Carmelites (OCarm) and
organized by Giampiero Mofinari, OCarm, includes twenty-five studies on
Marian spirituality and its Carmelite features. These research studies were
carried out by authors of various religious orders and focused particularly on the
devotion to the brown Scapular. The writers explored this theme through a
tripod scheme: (I) Studies and investigations; (II) The
Magisterium of the Church; and (III) The Scapular in the documents of the
Order. By way of conclusion, the testimony of "Isidore Bakanja, martyr of the
Scapular" is presented. There is a bibliography at the end of this assignment
that may be used to dive deeper into the themes herein addressed. Available in
