Prior General of the Discalced Carmelites from 1955 to 1967, to the Sisters of
Charity of the Immaculate in August 1994. These reflections have been
reworked to fit the format of this book. In these meditations, Cardinal Ballestrero
seeks to dive deeper in the mystery of the Virgin Mary from an existential
perspective, comparing her life with that of a consecrated soul. Available in
