In 2020, the Liturgical Commission of the Ligurian Province of the Order of the
Discalced Carmelites published a Supplemento per la Liturgia delle Ore (an Appendix to
the Liturgy of the Hours - https://liturgiacarmelitana.wordpress.com/2020/07/10/nuovo-
supplemento-per-la-liturgia-delle-ore/ ). This book follows two other publications
(exclusive to the Order, in Italian, and a Carmelite hymnal) this Commission had
published previously.
This Appendix now presents a Marian hymnal, the structure of the Saturday lauds for
the Memory of Blessed Virgin Mary on Saturday, a precious collection of 2 cycles of 34
readings for Saturdays of common time, in addition to the texts of recent established
Marian memories, and a proposal of 12 readings for the monthly celebration of the
office of the deceased.
