In the context of the 6th American Congress of the Carmelite Family, held from October 20 to 25, 2025, at the Teresian Center of Spirituality in São Roque, Brazil, under the theme «Mary, Master of Prayer and Mission», our Prior General, Fr. Miguel Márquez, delivered the lecture: «Mary in the Canticle of the Magnificat: An Approach from Carmelite and Ecological Spirituality», which we make available in this video. This gathering brought together the entire Carmelite family, from the Order of Carmel and the Discalced Carmelite Order, who recognize in the Virgin Mary their Mother, Sister, and Master of prayer and mission.
